Huawei is a Chinese company that specializes in producing smartphones. It proved to be successful worldwide, competing with some of the best-sold devices on the market. Their Prime series were particularly praised, as they offer high performance for a relatively small price.
Huawei’s Newest Smartphone Model
The company’s latest announcement is Huawei P Smart Z. It is solid proof of Huawei’s desire to diversify its smartphone collection. While classifying as a mid-range device at its core, it seems that it will be Huawei’s first smartphone that features a pop-up front camera, and also the first notch-less one.
The design concept is not revolutionary, as it has been done before. Most of the other producers chose to distance themselves from pop-ups and sliders, while Huawei is just now joining the game.
The First Image Of The New Model
The released image of the new device shows even more information about its appearance. Huawei P Smart Z will feature a 6.59-inch 2340×1080 screen and a metallic back. The pop-up camera is a 16 megapixel one with an f/2.0 lens.
Here are some of the specifications of Huawei P Smart Z that we know by now:
- 64 GB Internal Storage, 4 GB RAM
- Android 9 Pie
- 4,000 mAh fast-charging battery
- Rear fingerprint scanner
- Ultra FullView display
- Two rear cameras (a 16 megapixel f/1.8 main sensor plus a 2 megapixel depth-sensing one)
No announcement has been made regarding the launch date of Huawei P Smart Z yet. It is rumored that the device will retail at a price of around $234 (approximately 210 EUR), which is a considerably low price for a smartphone of this type and will be available in the colors black, green and blue.
