New reports state that EA has started to tease and even test some of the features and gameplay for an upcoming Plants vs. Zombies title recently, leading to fans getting more interested by it by the minute. The fans are almost sure that the new game EA is planning on releasing is to be called Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville because EA itself filed a new trademark for this particular title.
Even if this will be the case, with the devs being secretive and pretty reserved about any new releases, a trailer for the upcoming game has been leaked. It would appear that the trailer is revealing some of the gameplay involved, the official title, and some of the overall tone that will set the pace for this new game.
“Uncharted Scopes,” is the twitter user that has shared the leaked trailer for the new installment on social media, later on being seen by Wario64. The video has been deleted due to copyrights issues, but the trailer contained the features and gameplay that fans have been waiting for. There will be ludicrous action-packed, and dangerous living plants waiting for weaponized carnage. That is a lot of fun!
Beta Test Invites for the New Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville Game
Don’t hop on the hype train as of now because the trailer might reveal an early build or maybe nothing out of that trailer will make it to the final cut of the game. We’ll have to wait and see how EA will respond to this leak and see if this trailer means anything to the upcoming game. Some news circulates saying that Electronic Arts have started sending invites to players to test the next Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville game, that is a shooter.
“Get involved in the Community Playtesting program for a chance to be invited to the upcoming playtest for the new Plants vs. Zombies shooter (codename Picnic), made by the team that created PvZ Garden Warfare!” the invitation said. “The Picnic Closed Alpha will give registered players a first glimpse into the new game – you don’t want to miss out! Please remember that this is a confidential playtest that requires you to be a part of Community Playtesting.”
An official release date for the new Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville game has not been officially announced, all we know is that it is being developed for PC and consoles.
